24 bit Single Channel Delta Sigma

ADC with USB Interface

This unit uses the LTC2400 Delta Sigma 24bit ADC chip connected to a Cypress Semiconductor CY7C6300 which is a low speed USB device.

I wrote a Windows 98/Windows NT2000 WDM (driver) for it, based on the example supplied by Cypress Semiconductor, considering the speed of the LTC2400 it was a good match.

There is also a Dallas Semiconductor 1-Wire™  driver for the DS1820 and 5 digital I/O lines.

I used external power for the ADC side of the circuit, as I was never able to obtain a clean +5V through the USB connection.
